The B-52 Stratofortress, a long-range, subsonic bomber, has been a mainstay of the U.S. Air Force for over 70 years. Despite its age, the B-52 will continue serving into the mid-21st century, with 76 upgraded B-52Js planned for the fleet alongside 100 next-generation B-21 Raiders.
