An Orange County Superior Court judge denied resident Mark Bixby's application for a writ of mandate or a temporary injunction to keep the voter ID measure off the March ballot in Huntington Beach.
Former planning commissioner Mark Bixby filed in Orange County Superior Court on Nov. 22, challenging the legality of a proposed charter amendment.
The proposal has been raised periodically since the days following the attack on the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021.
