In late August last year, the Supreme Court said that the technical committee appointed by it had found ‘malware’ in five out of the 29 devices submitted to it.
'There was only a vague and omnibus denial of allegations by the Union,' the court said, coming down heavily on the Union government's refusal to file a detailed affidavit, citing 'national security' concerns.
