Standing around the lookout area when the ground collapsed. We heard like huge, like i would say, a splash. And a lot of sand and rocks falling down. Reporter the two hikers fell 70 feet and were buried underneath the rock and dirt. Some Good Samaritans nearby helped to get them out. And marin county fire sheriff and park ranger showed up to assist in the rescue. Both people were transported by hospital, but one was pronounced dead.
