Family held on to hope after the 13yearolds tonsillectomy at oakland Childrens Hospital went wrong leaving her brain dead. They hoped another facility would come forward to care for her. It sparked a Heated Exchange between the hospital spokesman and family lawyer that went back and forth for nearly 10 minutes. She is braindead. Brain death is not the same thing as death of the body. There are very different views on this, medical and religious views, published in the literature.
