National Park Service accepting bids for $6.3 million Buxton housing project
Thirteen trailers housing Cape Hatteras National Seashore employees in Buxton will be replaced with 12 stick-built houses by summer 2025 in a $6.3 million project. A contract named “Replace Hatteras Island Trailers” is listed on the U.S. Department of the Interior website, www.sam.gov, and is accepting bids through 5 p.m. on Oct. 2.
