We have seen months and months of rallies and protests. But all of that has come to an end. Late last night the districts board of trustees unanimously approved a new 2year contract for teachers. And everyone seems to be onboard. Ccsd and the Teachers Union were both tweeting about the news. Saying congratulations an agreement has finally been reached. Now as for that agreement heres what it boils down to. 35thousand to 40. Current teachers will also be getting a raise. That will be based on education and experience. Capping off at 90thousand a year. For the very first time teachers who go out and get extra training or education will be able to earn more money down the road. On top of the raise.
