We talked about this all night last night and all afternoon that this would mostly be a sleet event in the d. C. Area and points west. Thats exactly what we saw. We said frederick, maryland would be the big winner and thats exactly what we saw. Frederick with ten inches of snow. You all got that. Winchester at 8. 1. Vienna, 3. 5. National zoo coming in at three inches. They were definitely held down in some areas because of all of the sleet that we saw across our region. Were seeing some more snow. This is another band forcing its way down in towards Montgomery County and may clip into the district here over the next hour or so. Its all wrapping around our big noreaster. Look at that storm. You you can see that oneoe there. Thats of course prince georgee county. And we take yous up to the highest totals in the fredericki area. There were a few spots that got up to 10 inches. That was a jackpot for our area. I want to show you the wholehe storm in motion. Ion. This thing did go up to new york city. They have some mixing. We certainly had a lot of mixing here with ended up being 1. 18 inches of liquid amounting from anywhere where 2 to a 8 inches of snowny. If that had been all snow and not this big mix of sleet and freezing rain we would have hada a bigger snowstorm to deal with. It has brought in the cold air, and the big wind gusts, single digit wind chills tomorrow morning.
