“Sloane: A Jazz Singer,” which will be screened Sunday in Newburyport, brings into focus the life and career of the Providence native, who died earlier this year at 85.
Carol Sloane died at 85. The New York Times wrote about the Jazz singer from Rhode Island, "After seemingly being on the verge of stardom, she languished for decades, battered by changing tastes and bad luck, before enjoying a midlife comeback."
The exhibit runs from Friday, November 18, 2022, through June 25, 2023.
