This all started last night just before 9 30 at night. Police say they got a call from a 12yearold girl that her parents were fighting and that her father was threatening to kill her mother. The father armed himself with a knife. Dispatchers said they could hear a violent argument going on in the background. They sent multiple officers to the scene and the lieutenant describes what happened next. The officers arrived at scene. We were met with a male at the door with a knife and he had the knife raised forcing the officer in defense of his life to shoot the man who was armed with a knife. Its still an active scene. What we know now is the suspect, who was 37 years old and was taken to the hospital and was pronounced dead. There were two children, 11 and 12 years old. Both were daughters of the suspect and his wife. Theyll be out here for several more hours now.
