After the year we all had, you will catch me indoors only when it’s time to sleep, shower or type on this laptop (and maybe not even then). But, OK, let’s still take a beat to revel in spring. Many of the recipes below are gloriously green, and all are just the right heft for this in-between moment. Best of all, they are legitimately easy to make (which, again, after the year we all had... ).

It's designed for a smaller gathering of four to six guests and is packed with fresh flavors. April is the prime season for cooking with fresh herbs, tender greens, and spring-dug root vegetables, and with everything from a crispy grain salad that is filled to the brim with fresh peas, baby greens, and fragrant herbs to stalks of rhubarb baked into a simple olive oil cake, this menu features Spring's bounty in abundance. A menu with so much fresh produce to prep would be daunting for anyone to tackle all at once, which is why we're delighted to tell you that so much of this meal can be prepped ahead of time. But if you look closely, you'll notice that not all candles are made of the same type of wax—even if they look nearly identical. Like scents, there are a variety of different wax materials that candles can be made from, whether store-bought or handcrafted. Credit: Bryan Gardner One of the best tools for communicating with your wedding guests is via a wedding website. This is a great outlet for supplying guests with info on lodging, transportation, your wedding registry, and a schedule of events for the weekend. The trouble is, most people seem to forget about the wedding website and instead end up coming to you with all their questions. In an effort to avoid this pattern, we've come up with a few clever ways to guide people to the website. Put the info on broadcast The biggest reason guests don't go to the wedding website is because they forget about it. Be sure to include the URL in your save-the-dates and on an informational insert with the invitation. Additional gentle reminders can come in the form of social media references to the site, or telling friends and family about it in conversation. Make sure there's a reason you're bringing it up, like telling them you uploaded your engagement photos to the site, that way they can enjoy browsing the photos and find the information they need, too.

If you're repeatedly filling an ice cube tray with only water, it may seem like you don't need to wash it often. However, our experts say that ice cube trays should be treated like any item in your kitchen used for eating and drinking. "Ice trays are exposed to many different types of food in your freezer, so it can be common for odors to absorb into the ice cubes, causing them to taste funny," says Leanne Stapf, chief operating officer of The Cleaning Authority. Ahead we explain how often you should clean and replace your ice cube tray.
