Our guest today, general ann dunwoody, has scored a number of firsts. She is the first woman in u. S. Military history to achieve the fourstar rank, she was the first woman to command a battalion in the 82nd Airborne Division, and she was the first woman to command the combined arm support command. For the last four years of her active duty, ann helded the u. S. Army material command. Now retired, she was in charge of the Largest Global Logistics Command in the army comprised of 69000 military and civilians located in all 50 states and more than 140 countries. She managed a budget of 60 billion. Im jealous. And was responsible for oversight of approximately 70 billion in service contracts.
