An artwork exhibition was inaugurated in Hanoi on April 24 by war veteran and visual artist David Thomas of the United States and a group of 21 Vietnamese painters, showcasing the healing power of art, companionship in life, and a vision for the future.

C. David Thomas, who now lives in Wellesley, Massachusetts, has been an artist and teacher his entire adult life. Much of his work has been informed by his time in Vietnam during the war, and regular visits over the last 35 years.
