TALLAHASSEE – The Florida State women’s tennis team is playing the ITA Kickoff Weekend hosted by Stanford University, facing Arkansas on Friday and either host Stanford or Kansas State on Saturday. The Seminoles are 3-0 in 2023 after a perfect opening weekend at home. TALLAHASSEE – The Florida State women’s tennis team opens its 2023 season this weekend hosting three matches at home. FSU’s season opener is Friday at 3 p.m. against FGCU, and then the Seminoles host Mercer and FAMU in a Sunday doubleheader beginning at 10 a.m. Florida State is led by junior Anna Arkadianou, who is 52nd in the preseason individual rankings. JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Three members of the Clemson women's tennis trip made the trip to the UNF Invite this weekend, and each of them put up strong efforts and came away with highlights to build on. Eleni Louka came away with a top-50 victory on Saturday, as all three of Louka, Hatton and Medvedeva went 2-1 in singles play. Louka was able to defeat No. 43 Kit Gulihur in convincing fashion by a score of  6-2, 6-4.
