The only people we saw on the roads were the dot crews focusing on roads like soco road as the morning went on, we saw more people venturing out. We caught up with a family heading back out to alabama after being here for a couple of days to ski at catlucci. The girls told me this snowfall, even though it is a few inches is a beautiful sight because they never experienced anything like this. They had to catch it on camera it never snows. Nice to see it and have the cold and it is beautiful up here. Of course, we traveled up to the top of soco road, one of the higher eleletions in Maggie Valley. Freezing rain mixed in. We have freezing rain along i 77 in the northern part of Fairfield County and to the eastern part as well. South heading into the eastern side of richland county, still moving into sumter into Kershaw County, a mix of rain, possibly resuming. Sumter county as well, lee county has been inundated with a mix of rain and freezing rain. This all continues into extreme eastern parts of sumter county. The temperatures for the most part are slightly above freezing, 32 degrees as well as newberry 32 degrees newberry in camden. The windchill is the biggest issue. In aitkin we are at or well below 20 degrees with the windchill. That is causing issues.
