What we have learned so far about the victim. Just . This is the area in the canal where the body was found floating this morning. Just to give you a sense of where we are, we are on the north side of the canal, between 31st and 32nd streets, right in the heart of georgetown. According to police, the man found in the water was a hispanic male between 40 and 50 years old.
