With the lack of Economic Justice for black people and other minorities, not to mention native americans. So yes, there is a lot of work to be done. But considering where we were, in 1965, homosexuality was outlawed in every state, you didnt have any no lgbt people were represented and positively in the media anywhere. If there was a gay person in a movie, they had to be killed off or kill themselves. Considering where we were 55 years ago, where weve come today is really phenomenal. Again, i think thats because we can use the arguments and the examples, the great achievements of the africanamerican movement for civil rights, thats why so much has been done. But as it said, the price of freedom is eternal vigilence. One could also say the price of equality is eternal vigilance, too.
