单从比分分析，从0比7惨败川崎，到上轮0比5输给大邱，再到本次的0比3，国安是有所进步的。可从硬币的另一面来看，球队在数据上却惨不忍睹。本场比赛，国安的控球率只有22%，大多数时间内，大邱在进行轻松的半场攻防演练，双方射门之比为32比1，角球是尴尬的13比0，进攻次数比138比71。
同样要看到的是，本场大邱雪藏了多位主力，上轮梅开二度的强力前锋塞西尼亚根本没有出场。而对比上轮还敢于攻出去的国安，尽管大比分输球，但至少完成了9次射门，控球率超过3成，进攻次数比为92比131。
自中超球队决定以青年军参加亚冠以来，争议不断，国安首轮战平菲律宾联城后，曾受到称赞，但之后的两场惨败，又将球队推向风口浪尖，各类批评也潮水般涌来。此次0比3再败，尽管放弃了场面和进攻，但国安至少在比分上止住了颓势，这一点是值得肯定的。
这种放弃进攻，摆出铁桶阵的战术，也让人想到了此前刚刚两战均不敌中国香港杰志的广州队，他们也是在前2轮连败后，几乎放弃进攻，仅仅将少失球作为目标。首回合不敌杰志之战，广州队90分钟竟没有一次射门。

　　亚冠官方在社交媒体上对德扬表示祝贺，德扬留言道：“谢谢大家，这是一次疯狂的亚冠之旅，但我做到了！这是令人难以置信的成就，只有参加过这项赛事的球员才知道这有多难。”
　　德扬下个月将年满40岁，他曾效力于北京国安和江苏队，今年1月份加盟香港杰志，至今为杰志出战16场比赛，贡献19粒进球和4次助攻。
