Minneapolis-based Ryan Cos. US Inc. has acquired the commercial property management, property engineering and construction management business of The Excelsior Group. The deal, announced Monday, adds 1.4 million square feet of real estate to Ryan’s management portfolio. The companies said the deal closed April 29. Terms weren’t disclosed. The sale brings eight new buildings to Ryan’s management portfolio. The buildings are: 10 West End in St. Louis Park; Colonial Warehouse in Minneapolis; 7500 Flying Cloud in Eden Prairie; 2400 Xenium in Plymouth; 3311 Old Shakopee Road in Bloomington; Blair Arcade in St. Paul; Pondview Plaza in Minnetonka and Bridging Inc. in Bloomington. DALLAS, TX - Lincoln Property Company, the second largest property management company in the United States, announced that it will acquire the multifamily property management business of The Excelsior Group, Excelsior Multifamily LLC. The Excelsior Group is a Minneapolis-based real estate services company. Its Excelsior Multifamily LLC company manages a portfolio of 27 multifamily properties encompassing nearly 4,500 units in the Minneapolis/St. Paul metropolitan area. Terms of the sale were not disclosed. Excelsior Multifamily will expand Lincoln’s Midwest region, which currently includes offices in Chicago and Kansas City and, with the acquisition, an expanded presence in the Minneapolis/St. Paul metropolitan area. The addition of Excelsior’s multifamily portfolio will more than quadruple Lincoln’s presence in the Minneapolis/St. Paul market. Nearly all Excelsior Multifamily employees, including the business’s core leadership team, will join the local Lincoln team. ....
Q: It s been almost three months since the storm came through this area on Oct. 29 and left tons of brush debris. Despite accounting for the issues with the pandemic, the brush along the roads in Buena Vista and Sherwood Forest keeps piling up. Unfortunately, due to lack of roadfront in many cases, the brush and leaves are intermingling, making the pickup even more of a problem. Is there any evidence for a near-future scheduled pickup? C.F. Answer: Ricky C. Boston, the sanitation supervisor for curbside collection said, âThe storm couldnât have come at a worst time, right before the start of leaf season. We only have a few trucks collecting brush as most of our trucks are collecting leaves now. I would estimate another 3 weeks before we are in your area.â ....
