Innocent bystander was killed as a result of this shootout. The police scene now stretching for blocks here on 198th street, evidence markers show the bullet casings left over from this shootout early this morning. Sources say the commotion started out in the street and then spread inside the store. They say that someone flagged two Police Officers down who went into the store and they were approached by a 30year old suspect who grabbed one of the officers guns and began firing. A second officer responding back with shots, and thats once in the torso and that innocent bystander was shot and killed. Now, witnesses say they saw the bystander being taken out of the deli. They say he is a 49yearold man, a store employee, well known in the neighborhood who was just cleaning the shop at the time.
