This scene behind me really pretty typical of what weve seen all day at several different polling locations. It looks like its slow, but theres actually been a steady stream of folks mostly dropping off their mailin ballots. Some activity inside. But the fact that it looks kind of slow is really no indication of how busy it is in terms of people getting out to vote early. Lets have you take your ballot card, please. Reporter call it lastminute early voting. Yet another new phenomenon around the historic election of 2020. An election where in the east bay 60 plus of the electorate has already cast their ballots with still a little more than 24 hours to go. Once the word got out they could come into the warriors old training facility, we got a lot more people. Like to take pictures of things they see and live their memories. So thats nice. New this morning a woman escapes injury after her car went down an embankment in los gatos. The Santa Clara Fire Department in chp received a report about a car down the embankment off of highway 17. Represents the San Francisco Police Officers has filed a lawsuit against the city to stop what he calls unfair practices and actions by the Police Commission. The suit was filed tuesday ahead of last night position to implement changes to the use of force policy. Quibec this is all the result of a long running and contentious debate in San Francisco. Last night at city hall members of the Police Commission approved two major changes to the department the use of force policy. Members passed a measure that band officers from shooting at cars unless they were exceptional circles it is a truck they demanded the additional language be inserted. The union says officers need latitude when the public might be in danger from someone was behind the wheel of a car. Some commissioners agreed. Negligence. The view from sky fox shows crews early thursday lifting the sunken boat called the khaleesi from the water 5 days after capsizing the San Francisco bay with 30 people on board. Once it is above the waterline they saw the dewatering pump and pumped up the rest the water. The Us Coast Guard onsite making sure the salvage was safe including the removal of the remaining gallons of food of fuel from the tanks. Minor fuel shouting but it was gasoline so dissipated or evacuated quickly. The coast guard says there is no concern of an environmental threat, San Francisco police are looking into what led to the boats sinking, at least 30 people including of 4yearold boy were hospitalized but all are doing well. Fix this is a life threatening incident, we almost lost a life. The water is dangerous in San Francisco. The sfpd marine unit is investigating whether it was overcapacity and if there are theres criminal negligence involved. The investigation is fine how many people were on bo
