It extends along a 20mile stretch of the i80 corridor between carquinez bridge and bay bridge and integrates with other local but congested thoroughfares. This is a congested area with 270,000 vehicles use the i80 corridor each day. It is the busiest in the bay area. Officials say it needs the most sophisticated stateoftheart amendments to ease the congestion. The signs are not turned on yet.
