Mattea Roach has become one of the greatest Jeopardy! contestants of all time. Roach is on a 17-game winning streak as of the most recent episode. Her most recent victory was her closest yet, winning by only $1 over her closest competitor. She is only 23 years old and is ranked No. 8 all-time in consecutive wins on the show. So far, she has won $396,182 on the popular trivia game show. NBC News praised Roach's impressive accomplishments with a recent tweet, but instead of celebrating her brilliance, the tweet rejoiced over her sexual orientation.

Recently, equity, diversity, and inclusion have been the core tenets of left-wing political orthodoxy. So, with the news that Elon Musk would be leading a group of investors purchasing Twitter, one would think this would be celebrated by many on the Left. After all, an immigrant from Africa who received an Ivy League education and became a business owner and now leads one of the world's largest social media and tech companies should be the symbolic "dream" for Democrats and liberals. Yet, many have demonstrated a disturbing lack of enthusiasm.

Today is Earth Day. It is a holiday created by environmentalists in the 1970s to help protect the environment and save the planet. Like many things in this country's history, the annual celebration has its roots in Philadelphia. Earth Day's founder, Ira Einhorn, was born there, and the first Earth Day event occurred in the city's famous Fairmount Park in 1970. But while Einhorn magnanimously wanted to save the planet, he showed no such virtue to his girlfriend Holly Maddux, whom he murdered in cold blood.

Former NFL quarterback Colin Kaepernick said on a podcast recently that he still desires to play in the NFL. He made the comments on the "I AM ATHLETE" podcast with former NFL players Pacman Jones, Brandon Marshall, and Chad "Ochocinco" Johnson. Kaepernick stated that he had been vigorously working out with hopes of returning to the sports league he previously likened to a slave auction.

Black Lives Matter condemned the shooting of Patrick Lyoya by a Grand Rapids police officer earlier this month. The statements included the usual platitudes about racist police officers, systemic racism, and white supremacy. Basically, everyone and everything is at fault except the person who resisted arrest, fought the police officer, and tried to take his weapon. As such, BLM is sticking to a proven business model and can expect to reap another windfall.
