That brush fire is now 06 contained, started yesterday near edwards avenue and mountain avenue, not far from Merritt Community college. The fire did burn dangerously close to some homes and spread quickly. 80 firefighters worked to put that out from the ground but the air drops from cal fire may have been the biggest factor in getting that fire under control. He made off with an ak47 being repaired hours later office hers spotted the same suv used in the incident near the corner of 68th avenue and boulevard in east oakland.
