That is what i was going to do but i was struck that not only with the facts and figures with the sad state of infrastructure but i was also of a tripping on potholes and stories of innercity people who could not get to the jobs or wed take two or three buses and subway to get to school so but first raise subway connections we went to another city in 20 minutes so all of those things together made me feel this is an important issue. Im wondering how much, two things one is our community who immigrate come from countries where they dont really trust the government. The government hasnt done anything for them. They feel powerless in terms of an individual making any change. And so, they come here, and you know, they do their best to make a living, give their children a better future. But then what i hear from people in my community is they want their children to be doctors and lawyers, and thats it. And what would it take for them to help them understand that to trust that if your kid becomes involved in politics, thats going to help the whole community . So, its actually changing the mindset of our own community and taking responsibility for that, you know, as much as trying to educate the American Public and to show up also. I think what i see, especially in this atmosphere of hate and fearmongering and demonization, and especially i think the Muslim Community is retreating because theyre afraid. And so, how do yo
