Investigators say it happened near a metro station in compton. A 31yearold female officer and 24yearold male officer were both shot as they sat in their patrol car. They are out of surgery tonight. The sheriffs says both deputies are, quote, fighting for their lives. The sheriff says both deputies were part of the same class and have been on the force for a little over a year. I turned 50 on saturday, which was a lot of fun. We did one of those drive by parties. Where i grew up in compton, you didnt want to be associated with a drive by. But this was fun. My friends and family shouted muffled happy birthdays from their cars while wearing festive masks. It was like my own personal version of the masked singer. Who is that, my mama or chaka khan .
