120 students from across Cornell came together in 21 teams to model, prototype, and present their solutions to unique issues brought by the pandemic.

Out of all of the industries affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, food and beverage has been one of the most severely impacted. The pandemic has pushed the industry to a tipping point, with many in the industry agreeing that owners and customers must start treating restaurant employees better or face a reckoning that has been brewing since long before COVID.

Lecturer Lilly Jan of the Cornell Peter and Stephanie Nolan School of Hotel Administration continues to invite leaders to share their candid thoughts in a series of panel discussions on getting through the pandemic, moving forward, and creating a better future for the embattled food and beverage industry.
