MORRISTOWN — Town officials broke ground Friday on a project that will transform an empty lot off Speedwell Avenue into a public park.  Less than an acre wide, the $818,049 park referred to as Open Space at Speedwell, is part of the town's Speedwell Avenue Redevelopment Project and sits next to the new Modera 44 and Modera 55 apartments. Morristown Daily Record DOVER — LaVogue Berry still remembers the sound his basketball made when it hit the pavement at Crescent Field. The 37-year-old said the town's only park was his second home when he was a teenager. The former Dover High School athlete spent many long nights playing ball at the courts and the field with friends for fun and to train for high school football games.  Now it's time for him to give back, Berry said.
