There was someone who was trying to get people to stop but , cars would go around them and they would go re f you would hear their car slowly sputter out. Sheldon this is what the flooding looked like near 43rd street and the kinnickinick river parkway. Drivers sent ripples through the standing water when they tried to plow through. Others tried to divert for higher ground. By night, most of the water in this area had receded and crews cleared the drains to clear whatever was left.
