The average daily prisoner population for male and female inmates in both the jail and the Pre-Release Center fell from 245.59 to 231.9 for the two months, according to figures released at Friday’s prison board meeting. The male population decreased from 216.55 to 205.4. For females, the numbers fell from 29.04 to 26.5 between October and November. There were no transfer of inmates due to overcrowding.
