She is about to become a saint. Tens of thousands of people have gathered at the vatican for this ceremony to witness history unfold right before their eyes. Mother theresa was, of course, a Roman Catholic nun who devoted her life to helping the poor, the forgotten, the sick, the marginalized of society. She was known as the saint of the gutters. She was, of course, recognized for her work. She did receive a Nobel Peace Prize in 1979. She passed away in 1997 at the age of 87. Dena joins us live from st. Pete terse square.
