Turn 51 years old tomorrow. He slowed down on the road and was hit from behind by a charter but bus. Reporter the sheriffs deputy was on his way home from work when he was rear ended by a bus carrying tesla workers. An offduty Alameda County sheriffs deputy who was killed friday morning during a crash on interstate 580 near livermore has been identified as sroeuy khin. He slowed down and the charter bus slammed him from behind. The in tesla employees on board were not injured. Chp says the bus driver couldve been temporarily blinded by the sun. The fact that Law Enforcement personnel see so much is difficult for them to deal with that alone. And then dealing with the loss of one of your brothers is very tragic. It is heart wrenching. We spoke to the owners of the bus. It said the driver has been with the company for 10 years. He is distraught over the fatality. Our hearts go ....

Firefighters are battling what once was a massive fivealarm fire on the Oakland Emeryville border in the last two hours or so crews from multiple agencies have been able to get the fire a bit under control. It ignited just after 5 00 this morning at a condo building still under construction at 3800 san pablo avenue right next to 580. The massive fire at one point stopped traffic on the freeway. The construction crane melted at the top and there is concern at this 7 00 hour it could become more compromised and collapse on to nearby buildings.
