Alabama's Emma Caroline Warren competed in the Battle Rounds on "The Voice," singing "10,000 Hours" with teammate Cam Anthony. She was eliminated after the performance but saved by her coach, Blake Shelton. "When he hit the button (to save me), there was a wave of emotion," Warren told AL.com. "I was overwhelmed with gratefulness. It confirmed that I have what it takes to be there. I was just thankful to be there, in any way, shape or form."

The Voice's Season 20, contestant Kenzie Wheeler earned a four-chair turn with a country-as-all-get-out cover of Keith Whitley's "Don't Close Your Eyes." Kelly Clarkson to use her block button to keep Wheeler from making the obvious country choice -- Blake Shelton -- as his coach.
Wheeler ultimately claimed a spot on Team Kelly, though Shelton's been admiring the contestant's talent from the sidelines ever since -- and that trend continued during the first episode of live performances on Monday night (May 10.) The singer once again showed his skills as a country traditionalist, delivering a soulful rendition of "Red Dirt Road" by Brooks & Dunn.

Carolina Rial was front and center for the first live show in this season of “The Voice.”
Unfortunately, the Jersey teen won’t be moving on in the NBC competition after being cut at the start of the episode Monday.
Still, the young singer promises this is “only the beginning” for her music career.
Rial, who lives in Ridgefield, thanked supporters at home in New Jersey before Devan Blake Jones, a Denver singer from Nick Jonas’ team, was instead chosen to advance to the top 17.

The Voice's live shows kicked off on Monday with performances from the Top 17 singers -- but first, it was time to crown the winner of season 20's first fan vote: the 4-Way Knockout!
One singer from each team, saved by their coach during the Battle Rounds earlier this season, took the stage during the final night of the Knockouts, in the hopes of earning the most votes and moving on to next week's live shows.

Blake Shelton predicted that Cam Anthony would be the 'first superstar' to emerge from the NBC show as the final 17 performed during a two-hour live episode.
The 44-year-old country star made the bold statement after Cam, 19, delivered a soaring rendition of the 2013 song Take Me To Church by Irish singer-songwriter Hozier.
Blake reminded Cam that he promised to keep a lane open for him to reach this point in the competition, but the rest was up to him.

Clarkson entered the live shows with "one of the most unique teams I’ve ever had." She said her team is composed of "people I not only want to listen to, but I want to hang with."
Corey Ward kicked off the performances with an emotional rendition of Lewis Capaldi’s "Bruises," which literally brought him to his knees in the middle of the stage.
Jonas said his passion is both a blessing and a curse: "Sometimes that passion sacrifices some of that technique but I will take that over technicality."

ET spoke with Snoop while he worked with singers during the Knockout rounds, and the legendary rapper shared how excited he was to help coach the teams and impart his own experiences on the up-and-coming stars. But, while he had thoughts on each of the season 20 coaches, Snoop wasn't playing favorites!
"It's hard to say which team that I like working with the best, because there's so much talent inside of each team," he marveled. "Each team has some unique singers and some unique artists that could possibly make it past the show. I know only one person's gonna win, but it seems like there's about six or seven record deals up in here."
