Erlanger Ärzte heilen erstmals einen Long Covid-Patienten

Erst vor Kurzem haben Forscher der Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg für Aufsehen gesorgt, als sie eine mögliche Ursache der Long-Covid-Erkrankung entdeckt hatten. Heute (Fr. 2. Juli) meldet die Universität, dass Ärzten am Uniklinikum der angeblich weltweit erste Heilversuch eines Long-Covid-Patienten gelungen sei. Ein Team der Augenklinik habe einen 59-Jährigen mit Long-Covid mit einem Herzmedikament behandelt. Der Patient sei anschließend beschwerdefrei gewesen. Ob der Wirkstoff auch anderen Long-Covid-Betroffenen helfen könnte, soll bald in einer klinischen Studie...
