February 10, 2014 – Carson City, NV – Local Carson City resident, Wes Ball, recently received Emeritus status at the National Association of Realtors® 2013 Convention and Expo in San Francisco. He also received recognition from his local chapter, the Sierra Nevada Association of Realtors®, at a recent membership breakfast meeting.
Carson City Health and Human Services is reporting Sunday, Jan. 3, 2021 that there are 58 new cases and 11 additional recoveries of COVID-19 in the Quad-County region. This brings the total number of cases to 9,466, with 4,777 recoveries and 122 deaths; 4,567 cases remain active.

The severed fiber optic lines above the railroad tracks at Airport Road in Minden were reconnected one-by-one. According to Charter, there can be thousands of wires in each line.

Firefighters were experiencing improved wind and weather conditions early Wednesday in the Voltaire Canyon area of south Carson City where a wildland fire, believed to have started by campers, erupted Tuesday night.
