Pankaj Kumar Chatterjee, translator of the Bengali version of "Stalin's Couch", won the 7th Romain Rolland Book Prize, awarded to the best translation of a French book into an Indian language. This is the second win for Bengali after Trinanjan Chakraborty's win in 2022. Chatterjee is delighted and expects more French books to be translated into Bengali. The rumour has circulated online since at least 2010 but there was no trace of such a ranking on UNESCO's website or social media accounts as of February 27, 2024.
