NU team inspects Yingli College | Nagaland Post

A three-member inspection team from Nagaland University - Prof. Das, Department of English, Prof. M.K. Sinha, Department of Economics, and Prof. Athongo, Department of Sociology inspected Yingli College Longleng on April 28 for granting Permanent Affiliation of Honours in English, Economics, Sociology, History, and Education. The team interacted with the students and teachers of the college and also verified the feasibility of granting permanent affiliation to the above-cited subjects.

DC B'la inaugurates 02 days National Conference at Women's College Baramulla

Baramulla, November 02 (Scoop News)- In order to spread the message of love and peace, and in a bid to provide platform for nurturing the potential of budding youth, the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Baramulla, Dr Syed Sehrish Asgar today inaugurated two days National Conference on ‘The message of Love, Peace and Humanity in Urdu and English Literature’ at Government Degree for Women Baramulla.
The Programme was jointly organized by the Department of Urdu & English of Govt. Degree College for Women, Baramulla.
On the occasion, the Galaxy of researchers and academicians across different literary backgrounds participated which include Head of Department of Urdu, JNU Prof. Khawaja MD Ekramuddin, Assistant Professor, Department of English, University of Kashmir (South Campus), Dr. Shabir Hussain and other higher dignitaries.
While highlighting the objectives of the conference, the DC emphasized upon inculcating the values of love, peace and humanity in the minds of children at a quite young age. She asserted that the involvement of youth and children in such programmes can be the greater achievement if they are properly sensitized.
Dr Sehrish also said that every nation builds and progresses only when they motivate and dictate their children and youth towards humanity. She urged upon the parents to look after their child and make them morally standard.
Earlier, the Principal Government Degree College, Prof (Dr.) Maheen Mustafa highlighted the importance of such conferences in strengthening the national integrity and unity of the nation.
Other dignitaries also spoke on the occasion and asserted that every religion has the same message to offer where peace and love has been given a priority and it is our responsibility to spread love and peace around.
