good morning. welcome to way too early on this monday, october 10th. thanks for starting your day with us. and we ll begin the show with the war in ukraine. overnight, multiple explosions rocked the capital city of kyiv for the first time in four months. according to the mayor of kyiv, explosions went off near the center of the city in an area that includes the historic old town as well as several government offices. the number of casualties is not yet clear. ukrainian media is also reporting explosions in several other cities including a refuge for many people fleeing the fighting. air raid sirens sounded in every region of ukraine except russia annexed crimea the past four hours. yesterday russia also launched a missile attack that hit a residential building, killing at least 13 people and injuring dozens more. at least ten children were hurt in that attack. according to the ukrainian air force, six missiles were launched from russian occupied areas in the city. the ....
