The Rescue Plan also brought increased child tax credits and unemployment benefits. James Roberts, Ph.D., The Ben H. Jan 25, 2021 HOMEWORTH Gary L. Eckert, 65, passed away at 2:19 p.m. Friday, Jan. 22, 2021 at Salem Regional Medical Center. Gary was born on July 1, 1955 in Alliance, son of the late Cyril and Charlene (Potter) Eckert. Gary attended Louisville High School. He worked at Lowry Supply in Salem as the shipping and receiving manager, where he worked for 30 years. He was a hard worker and enjoyed his perennial gardens and working in his yard. Gary loved Geneva on the Lake and his day trips to Amish Country. Survivors include his husband, Joe Gabriel Eckert , whom he married Jan. 21, 2016; his children Jay, Adam, and Eric Eckert; one brother, Earl (Tammy) Eckert of Sebring; two sisters, Mary (Paul) McCarthy of Alliance and Barb Lacivita; and grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

JANUARY, 2020 The drone mystery It was 10 p.m., on Jan. 6, when YNT staffer Eric Eckert went out to observe the skies after receiving many calls from individuals in the area regarding patterns of mysterious drones flying over the area. There had been reports in western Nebraska the week before, of the same, and it looked like the drones â whoever they belonged to â had finally arrived here. Eckert is the digital director for the YNT â and somewhat of an expert in drones, videography and photography.
YORK â Eric Eckert has been obsessed with two things since he was a young boy â skateboarding and drawing mazes. This year, he found himself fulfilling dreams regarding both avenues as he was commissioned to create a massive maze mural inside a world-renowned skate park in Los Angeles, Calif. The York community likely remembers back to January, 2018, when Eckert set a Guinness World Record for creating the largest solvable maze ever. The York community likely remembers back several years to when he spearheaded the creation of Yorkâs first and only skate park. Well, 2020 had its challenges â but he still achieved personal milestones with this latest endeavor.
