Journalism Is Riddled With Bias, Errors, Narrative Setting and Pack Reporting. – Investment Watch

Barely a day passes anymore without one or more major corporate news outlets exposing their liberal bias.
What it really amounts to is the desire of news organizations to find facts to fit patterns they already have in mind.
Stressors do not relieve journalists of the burden to be accurate as well, and too often they fail in that responsibility.

Barely a day passes anymore without one or more major corporate news outlets exposing their liberal bias, sometimes by how they frame stories, sometimes by the massive errors they commit, and sometimes by the mistakes they make in groups. In recent weeks there have been a series of glaring examples in which members of the mainstream press have not exactly covered themselves in journalistic glory, and they extend a pattern in journalism that is disturbing.

Longtime Region assistant Robert Kania lands first head coaching job with Wheeler hire

Robert Kania is the new Wheeler football coach.
Provided by Robert Kania
Robert Kania has coached a lot of football over the years, serving as an assistant at Penn, South Central, Portage, Wheeler and Chesterton.
After spending the last eight seasons with the Trojans and coach Mark Peterson, Kania confirmed Monday that he's finally leading his own program. The 1991 Penn grad has returned to Wheeler and has been hired as the Bearcats' new football coach.
"I started my career at Penn (in 1996) and won a (Class 5A) state title. I should've retired then," Kania said, laughing. "I've kind of worked my way around, but I've enjoyed every second if it."

Highland senior trio leads 6-0 start, helps coach earn 100th win

Highland's coach knew his team was dead in the water — until it wasn't.
"I was getting ready to tell them, 'You can't beat good teams like Crown Point and not execute,'" Bogner said. " ... Then all of a sudden we started chipping away, and when our last guy got hit (by a pitch) and we ended up winning on a walk off, the guys ran onto the field. I was just yelling, 'Mask up! Mask up!'"
Bogner, who is in his eighth year at the helm, was so concerned with his team's COVID-19 safety protocols that it took a moment for the Trojans' victory to sink in. Highland rallied to earn a 5-4 home win over Crown Point in eight innings on April 3, erasing a 4-0 deficit in the bottom of the seventh.

Undefeated since viral incident, Lighthouse rallies together under interim coach Kendall Nichols

"That incident, we've moved on from it," Nichols said. "We don't even speak about it."
Nichols, who was brought on as an assistant during the 2017-18 season, has stepped in as the Lions' interim coach. The 1995 Roosevelt graduate shares a close relationship with Moore, and even though his "brother" can't be on the sidelines with him, Nichols has vowed to do everything he can to steer the team in the right direction.
So far, so good.

Region athletes reel in scholarship offers, make commitments

Then, it all came crashing down.
"I knew something wasn't right for sure just because I couldn't really put too much pressure on (my left knee)," Glass said. "But for the first week, I didn't even know that (my left ACL) was torn, and our trainers were telling me that it might have been something with my hamstring. I didn't find out until about a week later when I took an MRI.
"That's when they told me."
Glass said he sustained his season-ending knee injury after catching a pass and planting awkwardly in a Week 6 win at LaPorte on Sept. 25. He walked off the field under his own power thinking he would return, but when it was confirmed that Glass' high school football career was over, he was heartbroken.
