West des moines firefighters are on scene of a house fire that injured one of their own. Neighbors called 911 just after 330 this morning to report a fire at 6531 bradford drive. When crews got there, they say flames had fully engulfed the two story house. The citys fire marshall says with the frigid temperatures and strong winds, the fire spread quickly which made it difficult to contain.
