BRIDGEWATER — Bridgewater State University has erected a bronze bear statue to stand in solidarity with students and faculty coping with a loss. The 800-pound statue found a home in front of the Rondileau Student Union center on campus. The base of the statue is sitting on top of three massive rocks that have been transported from Maine.
