Hundreds of thousands of fundraiser dollars have poured in for an Idaho deputy marshal who was reportedly suspended after his TikTok video mocked NBA superstar LeBron James and provoked national debate about law enforcement's use of deadly force.
Bellevue Deputy Marshal Nate Silvester, using his @nateswildn TikTok account, posted a video last week in which he pretended to call the Los Angeles Lakers player to discuss a stabbing incident in progress. The video, which has since been viewed 4 million times, was prompted by James' tweeted demand for "accountability" from police following the fatal shooting of 16-year-old Ma'Khia Bryant, who was holding a knife when Columbus, Ohio, officers responded on April 20.

Suspended officer’s GoFundMe is over $196k
Update: The fund is now over $208k.
The Utah officer who was suspended without pay for a harmless video mocking Lebron, has  a GoFundMe set up by a friend.
People gave very generously, more than enough to cover his lost pay. That’s when Officer Nate Sylvester decided to give the excess funds to other officers and families in the same predicament thanks to the Democrat cancel culture.
He’s also donating to the Responders’ Children’s Foundation.
The fund is now at $196,000 and growing.
His friend who started the page, Mr. Gannon Ward, wrote this: : Nate is beside himself!! He is SO GRATEFUL for everyone’s donations. He was literally speechless. He has decided to donate a portion to the charity The First Responders Children’s Foundation, a charity for the families of fallen officers and first responders. Therefore, I’m upping the goal again!

An officer who went viral last week for a video mocking LeBron James has now been suspended by his police department.
Last week, Nate Silvester, a cop in Bellevue, Idaho, took over TikTok with a video in which he mocked LeBron James’ tweet about Ma’Khia Bryant.
Following the death of Ma’Khia, a 16-year-old girl who was shot dead by a police officer in Ohio, the basketball star tweeted a photo of a police officer with the caption “YOU’RE NEXT #ACCOUNTABILITY”.
Nate Silvester then posted a video mocking LeBron’s now-deleted tweet, and he’s now being investigated by his police department for doing so.

The GoFundMe reads: “He’s still got his job for now, but apparently the town where he polices didn’t find his TikTok as amazingly comical, and accurate as the 4.5 million viewers did, including some major news networks. The future is uncertain. I just don’t want to see my friend lose out on any money for this when it was meant to be satirical and to point out an obvious flaw in Lebron’s logic. Please donate what you can contribute. Every dollar helps! Thanks!!”
