Organiser of the Scrub-up team, Sophia Atcha, said she has been overwhelmed at the response for help, after asking for more volunteers on social media. Sophia set up the group in Cockermouth a year ago to help with the demand for scrubs from frontline staff including nurses, doctors, dentists and osteopaths.
