Within the next half hour the leader of the house of Commons Andrea leadsom will be presenting the results of a cross Party Investigation into Sexual Harassment at westminster. Well be taking you there live when it starts, but first the findings show that nearly a fifth of people working in parliament have experienced or witnessed Sexual Harassment in the past 12 months. And the report recommends a new code of conduct and compulsory training to help mps understand and prevent harassment. Our main story is the bank of englands view that Interest Rates will probably rise earlier than expected because of strong growth in the global economy. The key lending rate has been left unchanged at half of one per cent. But the banks governor, mark carney, said that increasing growth in the year ahead meant that action would be needed to control inflation.
