East Bay official apologizes for ghetto remarks about affordable housing. Will city oust him? FacebookTwitterEmail suggesting that affordable housing would create a ‘ghetto’ in the city’s downtown.MARK COSTANTINI / SFC The Livermore City Council will consider removing a planning commissioner Monday evening after he made offensive remarks, suggesting that affordable housing would create a ‘ghetto’ in the city’s downtown.
