This morning, the worst may be over in east tennessee, but wildfires pushed by powerful winds are blamed for at least three deaths and destroying hundreds of homes and businesses. More than a dozen people were injured. The towns of gatlinburg and pigeon forge were hardest hit and thousands were literally forced to run forhe in the words of one survivor, it was like we were in hell. Demarco morgan has our report and the frightening video. Reporter you are watching cell phone video taken by two brothers as they escape from a resort area in the mountains of gatlinburg, tennessee. They said they had no warning as the walls of flame surrounded them and their only choice was to ride through it or die. Winds that topped 87 miles per hour. On the week, the dow is flat to up slightly on the week here the s p 500 is down. 1 . Is down 1 . The nasdaq down within 1 . The currency markets we have a little bit of weakness in the bloomberg dollar index, down. 2 . That is after the jobs report that was mixed. We do have the pound trading higher, and the dollaryen strength,ng yen pressuring the dollar. A little bit of a safe haven play among the currency market. We look at the commodity complex.
