This week george miller and senator harkin introduced an increase in the minimum wage. when we increased it in 2007 in our first 100 hours it was the first time it had been increased in 11 years. it s time for it to be increased again. hear hear. nancy pelosi supporting the fair minimum wage act of 2013. this new bill would raise the federal minimum wage over $10 an hour to $10.10. it would also provide adjustments on a cost of living basis, which of course is a big deal. the bill also is really great for business. costco ceo greg jelinek, he came out in support of the bill saying, we know paying employees good wages makes good sense for business. we pay a starting hourly wage of $11.50 an hour and we are still able to keep our overhead costs low. ....
