good afternoon. i m casey hunt here in washington. we re going to begin with breaking news. just moments ago we learned that tesla is recalling hundreds of thousands of vehicles in order to remove the, quote, full self-driving feature. that is the beta software that lets the car drive with minimal human intervention. gabe cohen has our latest reporting on this. this is a lot of cars and a big deal. reporter: we re talking about poten potentially 363,000 tesla vehicles being recalled. we are just getting this recall report in that s coming from the national highway traffic safety administration. i want to walk you through what models we re talking about. so we re talking about the tesla model s, model x, model 3 and model y vehicles, spanning several years. 2016 all the way up until 2023. as you mentioned, all of these vehicles we re talking about are equipped with that self-driving beta software and now tesla is going to be giving a free software update. in the meanti ....
