Reflection of the rest of the country. you know, you were known as one of, called yourself an idealist, you were known as an ideas guy on capitol hill when i covered you as a member of congress. who are the people with the ideas? personalities seem to drive everything right now in the party particularly in the primary cycle. look, i agree with you. here is part of the problem with the primary cycle. not enough people vote in primaries. in the last election, 2020 election, in the presidential election 67% of eligible voters voted. but in the primary only 24%. when everything is done in this election cycle i m sure those numbers will be pretty much the same. people are talking to a very narrow group of voters. there are other voters not being talked to or don t like what is happening. when you look at 80% of the country thinks the country is on the wrong track and that number has been growing, it started growing under the previous administration. it s been growing under this ....
